ECC is a full-service travel company specializing in travel for Americans visiting Cuba. Much of ECC’s prowess is due to the company’s unique founder Colin Ganley and his deep connections to the right people in Cuba.
ECC employs the very best concierge grade travel guides on the ground in Cuba to facilitate tours and presentations. These team members are fluent in English and have excellent relationships with the restaurants and sites where you will want to spend time. Beyond their knowledge of Cuba, history, and culture, they are retained for their ability to solve problems and assist our clients with any situation that presents itself while on the island. Resourcefulness and ingenuity are critical skills in Cuba.
Meet Colin Ganley - ECC Founder
ECC was founded by Colin Ganley. Colin became an expert on all things Cuba during his tenure as the Chief Editor of a magazine called Cigar Journal.
Consistent travel to the island during a twenty year period provided him with contacts in many industries as well as a deep knowledge of the best restaurants, hotels, homes (rental), bars, and natural points of interest.
Prior to his Editorship, he was highly educated at the Universities of Oxford, London School of Economics and Bentley. Colin oversees all activities of ECC and personally attends many of the trips as a supervisor or guide.
In addition to ECC, Colin is also the co-founder of Twin Engine Coffee with his wife Andrea. He lives in Nicaragua with his wife and daughter Lucille.

ECC Local Cuban Guides
ECC has a core group of the best bi-lingual Cuban guides on the island. In addition to this all-star team, we utilize experts in various fields including: architecture, history, fine art, ballet, rum, cigars, salsa, and more. No matter the style of trip ECC organizes, we ensure that our team of Cuban experts provide the best background and knowledge to our travelers.
ECC’s team of guides is made up of people who have lived in Cuba since birth or who have extensive experience on the island and each is fluent in English and Spanish. Our guides do not take kickbacks from any vendor in Cuba. So you can always feel confident in their suggestions and recommendations.
